Pre-launch checklist (18 items)

The checks to run before sending the first real customer to the WooshPayment checkout. Bookmark the page and tick them all off.

TLDR: before enabling checkout in production, tick the 18 items below. The checklist follows a logical order: account โ†’ branding โ†’ payments โ†’ store integration โ†’ marketing โ†’ smoke test โ†’ launch.

Account & domain

  • 1. Email verified โ€” the reminder banner disappears when you click the link we sent you. Verification does NOT block dashboard usage but is required for password reset and notifications.
  • 2. Strong password saved in a password manager (1Password, Bitwarden).
  • 3. Final slug chosen โ€” the {yourslug}.wooshpayment.com subdomain is permanent. Changing it requires support.
  • 4. (Optional) Custom domain mapped โ€” checkout.yourstore.com with fixed checkout. prefix. Available to all merchants without plan gating. See Custom domain.

Branding

  • 5. Logo uploaded โ€” PNG/SVG with transparent background, max 200KB, recommended 200ร—200 (square) or 600ร—200 (horizontal).
  • 6. Brand color in hex format (e.g. #FF6B35). Minimum 4.5:1 contrast with white โ€” use contrastchecker.com.
  • 7. Favicon uploaded (32ร—32 PNG).
  • 8. Font chosen from the dropdown in the Brand panel.

Payments

  • 9. Whop connected with Owner role. See Whop setup. Without Whop you can only accept Cash on Delivery.
  • 10. Apple Pay verified โ€” check in the Whop dashboard that the {slug}.wooshpayment.com domain (or checkout.yourstore.com if active) is among the registered domains. See Apple Pay setup.
  • 11. (Optional) Cash on Delivery (COD) active โ€” useful in IT/ES/RO/PL. See Cash on Delivery.

Store integration

  • 12. Shopify/WooCommerce connected โ€” see Shopify integration or WooCommerce integration.
  • 13. ScriptTag verified โ€” on Shopify it is installed automatically at the OAuth callback, no copy/paste. Open your store, click "Checkout" and verify that it redirects to your WooshPayment subdomain. If it doesn't redirect, see Script tag debug.
  • 14. Shipping configured both in WooshPayment and in the Shopify/Woo panel. Without rates the checkout shows "No method available".
  • 15. Taxes/VAT verified in your store backend for your country.

Marketing & analytics

  • 16. Pixels active if you use them โ€” GA4, GTM, Meta Pixel, TikTok. See Marketing pixels. Test the Purchase event with a pilot order.

Final smoke test

  • 17. Real pilot order for โ‚ฌ0.50 or the minimum amount allowed by Whop. Buy from your store, pay with your own card, verify:
    • Order created in Shopify/Woo with status paid
    • Session marked COMPLETED in WooshPayment โ†’ Orders
    • Merchant notification received (also check Spam the first time)
    • Pixel events fired (Meta Events Manager, TikTok Events, GA4 DebugView)
  • 18. Real iPhone mobile test (not simulator). Apple Pay opens, iCloud autofill works, no field hidden by the keyboard. 70% of checkout traffic is mobile.

After launch

  1. Dashboard โ†’ Orders every day for the first week
  2. Dashboard โ†’ Integrations โ†’ verify that Whop stays "Connected" and ScriptTag active
  3. Refund: for now refunds are issued from the Whop dashboard. See Refund flow for the correct procedure that keeps state in sync.
